Tufton announces Tommy’s as its Charity of the Year through 2024

Tufton is delighted to announce Tommy’s as its Charity of the Year through 2024. Tufton staff have been Tommy’s supporters since 2013.

1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss during pregnancy or birth. Tommy's believes every baby lost is one too many and works tirelessly to reduce the UK’s unacceptable rates of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth by funding pioneering medical research. Tommy’s wants to make pregnancy safer for all and ensure that excellent maternity care is available for every family, every baby, everywhere. More information about Tommy’s can be found here.

Tufton has committed to donating at least £25,000 per year to help Tommy’s drive forward change to make pregnancy safer for all. £25,000 could help to fund Tommy’s brilliant team of midwives for 6 months, supporting approximately 3,000 women with expert information and guidance. Or it could fund a Tommy’s rainbow clinic midwife for one year, caring for women who are pregnant following loss.
